International Programmes work in partnership with Centres in target regions around the world to deliver programmes that address mutually agreed goals. The overall goal of the work is to bring about change through engagement with reading and writing and the world of ideas. This work also focuses on Centre development and strengthening the capacity of Centres in each region.

Our focus regions have been set to 2009. The focus in 2007 was Africa. The work with Centres in this region will continue as work begins with Centres in Latin America and the Caribbean in 2008 and Centres in the Asia Pacific Region in 2009.
