International PEN case list January - June 2008 now available

The International PEN Writers in Prison Committee (WiPC) caselist is now available, summarising over 650 cases of attacks on writers, publishers, poets, playwrights and journalists in 95 countries world wide in the first six months of 2008, it provides an overview of the extent of suppression of freedom of expression globally today.

Printed copies are now in production and will be sent to all PEN Centres with WiPCs in due course.
